Latfro Entertainment, founded in 2001 by our CEO Carlos Wind, celebrates and shares over 20 years of experience in the Entertainment & Booking Industry.
Growing up as a Latin American kid with Argentinian parents and German and European grandparents, our founder had experienced what it means to be different from others, at a very early stage.
The diverse residencies between Germany and Argentina, would always let him feel as a foreign in his own country. In Argentina people would call him the German kid and back in Germany he has always been the Argentinian kid.
As the years passed by, Carlos was getting to know more about the history of the african continent and culture through his ex-fiancé. He soon realized, that both continents share a history full of suffering, where the native people have been colonized and robbed.
As they were dreaming about having kids in the future and the young couple dropped the name LatFro, to describe the roots of their future kids.
Once that name “LatFro” dropped, Carlos felt that this was the beginning of something big and a great name for his company.
The name Latfro is a conjunction of Lat = Latin & Fro = Afro
It was the perfect name to represent their roots, which is shown on the first edition of the logo of the company. The logo is a cartoon face with an Afro Hairstyle that has both continents designed in the Afro. The team immediately identified with the logo!

At the early beginnings, Latfro started off as a brand that was known for Club Events. After a while we started to promote Dance Workshops and real soon we promoted our first hip hop concerts, tours and festivals with international artists such as DMX, Wu-Tang Clan, Ice Cube, Nas, Snoop Dogg, Method Man & Redman, Busta Rhymes, Rick Ross, DJ Premier, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Lauryn Hill, Brandy, De La Soul, Slick Rick, Xzibit, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, KRS-One, The Game, Boyz II Men, J. Cole, Trey Songz, Wizkid, Ryan Leslie, Epmd, B-Real (Cypress Hill), Mobb Deep, Onyx, M.O.P, Lord Of The Underground and many more.
Same as national, german rap artists such as Kool Savas, Sido, 187 Strassenbande, Kontra K, Xatar, Haftbefehl, Ssio, Samy Deluxe, Motrip, Azad, Eko Fresh, Mero, Eno, Juju, Nimo, Olexesh and many more.
Two decades later, Latfro has developed its business departments and promotes over 100 events per year with its own booking, production, event and talent management.

Over the years, we’ve developed our services to be an all around entertainment brand. This also includes our experience in diverse fashion and model bookings for big campaigns.
Which in 2019 lead to the most recent chapter of the Latfro Family, which is our own Latfro Models Agency.
Now 2 Years later, we are proud to represent over 200 models from all over the world.
Throughout the years, we witnessed how difficult it was, to get model placements for BIPoC. Therefore, we decided to launch the model agency in order to change that! Our unique model roster includes over 90% BIPoC talents from all over the world. It has been long overdue that all ethnicities are being represented to have an impact on the model industry and change the old structures that were mostly white dominated.
Since then we are on this wonderful journey and are proud, to be able to mention brands like Adidas, Deichmann, Snipes, Nike, Sennheiser, Deutsche Bahn, Jordan, Six, Karl Kani, Namilia, Mister Tee, Urban Classics, Penny, Hi-Life, Smilodox and many more as our customers.
